Mobile interim service

Interim Service
in Manchester.

An interim service is the six-month or 6,000-mile check between full services. It is what high-mileage drivers and anyone on a long commute should be doing twice a year, not once.

Step 1 of 5

Start with the reg.

The plate gets us most of the vehicle details before you type anything else.

No reg to hand? Leave it blank and carry on.

We carry out the work on your driveway, your workplace, or wherever the car is parked. The mechanic stamps the service book before they leave and emails you a copy of the inspection sheet.

Questions

  • How often should I have an interim service?

Every six months or 6,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you do school runs and short trips it is more important than mileage suggests, because short journeys are harder on engine oil than long ones.

  • What is the difference between interim and full service?

An interim covers oil, filter and a safety inspection. A full service adds air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter where serviceable, spark plugs where due, and a deeper inspection of suspension and brake components.

  • Will an interim service affect my manufacturer warranty?

No, as long as manufacturer-spec parts and oil are used and the work is recorded. We use the right spec for your car and stamp the service book.
